Douglas Fir

Douglas Fir, also known as Oregon Pine, is a most attractive softwood often used for cottage style furniture, suitable for widows and doors.

It does grow fast in Dorset, so its not the same as the North American commercially available stock, but we love this timber and the National Trust specify it for windows and doors locally that we make for them.

Available in boards and beams in thicknesses of 1", 2", 3", 4" at up to 450mm wide and 6m long.

Larger beams available - cut to size
