Idigbo

Idigbo is another African hardwood we keep in stock. Plantation grown its considered sustainable and is often used as a substitute for Oak, being far cheaper whilst having many similarities. Figured pieces can be mistaken for oak at 1st glance and its a great alternative to Oak for gates when the budget is tight.

Suitable for turning, it takes stains and finishes well, works easily and can be brought to a high lustre.
