Larch

Larch grown in Dorset is much faster grown than commercially available Siberian Larch and therefore has wider growth rings and is less suitable for structural use However, its perfect for cladding and fencing. Properly seasoned it also makes very handsome floor boards. We love this timber and have used it on our own yard workshop for cladding. Available now 'green' for cladding in waney edge boards up to about 12" wide and 3/4" thick we will soon have seasoned stock suitable for planing and thicknessing for boards.
