Mulberry not only produces great fruit and feeds silk worms - its also a lovely hardwood, rot and insect resistant, turns very well and can be brought to a high lustre.
Its rarely seen commercially as a timber and our stocks are scarce but reasonably regular.
Available in interesting live edge pieces, generally around 800mm long and about 600mm wide in 40mm boards.
