Western Red Cedar

Widely grown locally in the New Forest and Purbeck in the 1950's this aromatic and handsome timber is now being felled and therefore available as lumber.

Excellent for cladding we also rate it very highly for pergolas, decking and floor boards.

Works very well with hand and machine tools, carves well and finishes beautifully when sanded.

Available in boards and beams off the shelf at 3.7m long up to 400mm wide in 1", 2", 3" and 4" thicknesses. Other sizes can be cut to suit.
